Youngstown CityScape to announce winners of beautification awards tonight

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown CityScape will announce the winners of the 2019 Youngstown CityScape Beautification Awards tonight at 5 p.m. at DeYor Performing Arts Center.

The awards are presented each year to those who have made exceptional beautification or preservation efforts and, in doing so, continue to raise the standards throughout the city of Youngstown.

Awards will be given in three categories: Business, Community and Residential.

Eighteen different awards will be issued for improvements that include downtown development, community improvement projects, public art, vacant land reuse and individual home beautification.
