DeWine, EPA chief part of at Tuesday event

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine will join state, local, and federal officials in East Palestine on Tuesday to provide an update on the status of remediation work at the site of the Norfolk Southern train derailment.

DeWine will also discuss the opening of the new Health Assessment Clinic which will be available for area residents who have medical questions or concerns related to the derailment.

The event is slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. EST.

He will be joined by U.S. EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Congressman Bill Johnson, U.S. EPA Region 5 Administrator Debra Shore.

Additional local, state, and federal officials are also expected to attend.
