A morning/noon TV anchor at WKBN is leaving the station.

Chelsea Spears announced on Twitter that Monday was her last day.

What Chelsea Spears is saying on her last day

“My time at WKBN has come to a close,” she wrote. “This, friends, is my last day as a TV news anchor. Thank you for trusting me, thank you for waking up with me, thank you for watching. It has been an absolute honor.”

According to her LinkedIn page, Spears is joining Farmers National Bank of Canfield as a Communications Specialist.

Spears has been with the station since 2017 and was named Mahoning Valley’s 2022 Inspirational Person of the Year.
