WFMJ sports reporter/anchor to leave station

A WFMJ sports reporter/anchor is heading to Lima, Ohio.

Dante Centofanti said he anchored his final sportscast on Tuesday night.

Tonight was my final sports block for @21WFMJ

Getting to work alongside my @KentStateMDJ classmate @ErinWFMJ was a pleasure every Monday and Tuesday.

Centofanti said on a LinkedIn post that he signed a two-year contract with Your Hometown Lima Stations.

“Thank you to the city of Youngstown, Warren, and the rest of the Valley for welcoming me into their homes,” he said on the post. “I can’t wait to do the same for sports fans in Northwest Ohio.”

Centofanti has been with WFMJ for the past year.
