‘That’s the best pizza ever made,’ hip-hop artist Kap G praises Avalon Pizza
Hip-hop artist Kap G recently was in Youngstown to record a music video and quickly fell in love with the pizza scene here.
Kap G praised Avalon and their Brier Hill pizza with hot peppers on the Youngstown-based Can’t Knock the Pod podcast with Art Ward and DJ ChipBanks.
“I think that’s the best pizza ever made,” he said on the show. “It’s so good. I’m not going to lie.”
Kap G said he also enjoyed eating at MVR while in town.
The hip-hop artist said it was his first time in the city.
“I like it,” he said. “It’s cool.”
Podcast co-host Art Ward told him that Kap G would also like other pizza if he likes Avalon, “If you say Brier Hill is the best, you’ll love the rest of the pizza we have.”
Kap G also said he liked MVR Pizza as well.
In addition to the music video, Kap G did a concert at Youngstown Rayen Early College Middle School.
