WATCH: Niles police officers help elderly woman whose car ran out of gas
Niles police officers Kegan Brady and Krysta Wedge are being praised on social media after the department posted a video of them helping push an elderly woman’s car off the road who ran out of gas Wednesday afternoon on Hartzell Avenue.
“We have received more positive feedback from citizens from this incident than I can recall in recent memory,” Niles Police Chief Chief Jay Holland said on a Facebook post Thursday.
He said it’s part of what police officers do everyday.
“This is (the work that usually goes unnoticed,” Holland said. “Thank you to the multiple citizens who saw this and brought it to my attention.”
