Mahoning Valley residents are dealing with fallen trees, damage to power lines and power outages after this weekend’s storm.

Some are starting the work week without power.

First Energy provided the following update on the number of homes without power:

As of noon on Monday, in Columbiana County, there are 511 homes still without power, 1,655 homes without power in Mahoning County, and 3,740 homes in Trumbull County without power.

There are some resources for families dealing with spring storm damage to their properties, according to the Mahoning County CPA Ralph Meacham.

According to Meacham, residents can apply for a reduction in their property value if the storms damage their property.
