Free Easter meal offered at Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley

The Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley will be serving an Easter dinner in the group’s dining hall, 1300 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Youngstown, from noon-7 p.m. on Sunday.

The meal is being provided by donations from the community and will consist of ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple sauce, and dessert.

“As we celebrate this Resurrection Day, we thank the Lord for his provision of the building and the love of Jesus we can share with the people coming in to eat,“ said Mike Byers, who serves as Kitchen Director for the Rescue Mission.
