New Meijer announces opening in Trumbull County

A new Meijer supercenter coming to the Mahoning Valley will open for customers in Warren next month.

According to a press release yesterday, the new grocery supercenter located at 2100 Niles Cortland Road SE will be open May 16.

The 159,000-square-foot store will have a pharmacy, fresh produce, bakery, deli, floral and garden center, and sections for pets, electronics, toys and apparel.

The Meijer Express gas station will open April 20

The Meijer Express gas station adjacent to the new location will open on April 20.

“We’ve been so grateful for the warm welcome from area residents so far, and we look forward to providing them another option close to home for groceries and other everyday needs,” said Todd Anderson, vice president of the Ohio Region for Meijer. “We know that value and convenience are key for our customers, and we look forward to being able to provide both here in Warren and Wooster.”

They’re looking to fill 350 open positions at the Meijer store opening in May.
