15-year-old girl killed in Youngstown shooting

Youngstown police say one person is dead following a shooting Saturday night on the city’s south side.

According to reports, the shooting occurred at Martha’s Boulevard Tavern, 3503 Southern Blvd., after a reported fight.

What are Youngstown police saying about the incident?

Police indicated they saw a “chaotic scene with about 30 people” when they arrived outside and found a 15-year-old female gunshot victim inside a car with a gunshot wound.

Reports said that the EMT ambulance service arrived on the scene and transported the victim to Mercy Health, where she was pronounced deceased.

Police said detectives are conducting interviews and looking for potential video surveillance.

No arrests have been made, police indicated.
