Youngstown CityScape joins TreeScape to plant trees downtown

Youngstown CityScape joined with TreeCorps, an initiative of the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation as part of a more extensive planting project of 250 trees throughout Youngstown.

It is supported by the Parks and Greenspaces Committee of the Healthy Community Partnership and funded by the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. Youngstown CityScape, Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation, and the City of Youngstown Parks and Recreation. The group planted 40 trees on Tuesday in Wick Park, Fifth Avenue, and Ohio Avenue. with staff and volunteers.
