Area players selected to play for Ohio in this year’s annual Penn-Ohio Stateline Classic football game will be feted at a kickoff dinner 6 p.m. May 21 at Salem High School.

This year’s Stateline Classic is slated for 7 p.m. June 22 at Salem’s Sebo Stadium.

The game is co-sponsored by the Quad County Coaches Association and their Western Pennsylvania coaching counterparts.

Last year’s game, which was played at Reeves Stadium on the campus of Geneva College, was won by the Buckeyes.

Rosters for the game will be announced soon. The Ohio team is comprised of players chosen from Mahoning, Columbiana and Jefferson counties.
