MIKE BROWN: Jack Arvin Classic slated Thursday night

Some of the best graduating football players in both Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties will be playing Thursday night when the 37th annual Jack Arvin All-Star Classic is held at Canfield Cardinal Stadium. The game kicks off at 7 p.m.

The popular all-star game resumed last season after a two-year absence during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The contest is played at alternating sites each season in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

The Trumbull County team captured the win in last year’s classic by a 31-21 final in Hubbard.
