Cleveland Browns have a new Dawg logo
The new dawg logo is in for the Cleveland Browns. Announced today, the winner of the dawg logo was voted on by fans through multiple rounds of voting.
This logo was created by Houston Mark, who wanted to create a logo that displayed the intensity and passion of the fanbase, while including symbols that highlight the history of both the franchise and Cleveland.
The dog is a bull mastiff and has eight unique symbols to it. The following things are incorporated into the logo; Ohio, football, east end zone, guitar pick, spikes, guardian bridge, pound helmet, and helmet stripe.
“We are so excited to unveil a new dawg logo that perfectly encapsulates who we are as a franchise and as a city,” Executive Vice President and Partner JW Johnson said. “Our fans have been asking us for a new dawg logo for quite some time, so it made perfect sense for them to select the logo themselves and decide how they want our team to be represented — and they made a great choice.”
Fans will now have three logos to choose from when it comes to the Browns. The new logo joins Brownie and the helmet.
