Looking for something to do this week? Stop by the Girard Street Festival, three days of entertainment, returning to Trumbull County after a 30-year hiatus.

Thanks to Many Hands Foundation, a coalition of generations of Girard residents, the festival is back and happening this week.

When is the Girard Street Festival?

The three-day event runs 5-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday and concludes noon-10 p.m. Saturday.

Where is it happening?

The festival will be held between Main Street and Route 422 in front of the Girard Municipal Building.

The exact address is 100 W Main St. SE in Girard.

How much does it cost?

It’s free to get into the festival and open to everyone.

According to the website, there will be food concessions and carnival games.

Any money from the festival will go to Many Hands Foundation, whose goal is to continue the celebration annually and provide scholarships for local students in upcoming graduating classes.

Enjoy live music from local groups like Southside Fiasco, The Richie Wilkins Trio and Dead Flowers.

Check out the free petting zoo and face painting booths, then test your accuracy at the dunk tank and the ax-throwing stand.
