Youngstown man killed in Hubbard Township crash
Jonathon T. George, 32, of Youngstown, was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash near Bellwick Road in Hubbard Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
According to reports, George was operating a 2020 Harley Davidson FLHX motorcycle northeast on US 62 and traveled off the right side of U.S. 62, overturned, and struck a house.
Police said he was ejected from the motorcycle in the crash.
What are authorities saying?
George was transported to Saint Elizabeth Hospital, where he died, according to reports.
U.S. 62 was closed in the area of the crash for the investigation but has since reopened, reports indicated.
Hubbard Township Fire Department and the Hubbard Township Police Department assisted at the crash scene.
The crash remains under investigation, authorities said, adding that speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
