Farmers National Bank appoints long-time employee to high-ranking position in Pennsylvania
Farmers National Bank of Canfield has promoted Josh Fye to Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Team Leader in Pennsylvania.
Fye came to Farmers National Bank of Canfield through the recent merger with Farmers National Bank of Emlenton, where he worked since 2012. Before this promotion, Fye was serving as the company’s Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Lending.
“I’m excited to begin my new role with Farmers,” Fye exclaimed. “Pennsylvania has always been home to me, and I’m ready to keep serving the region in a new way.”
What will Josh Fye do in his new role?
As Commercial Banking Team Leader, Fye will supervise and coach a team of relationship managers for commercial lending.
In total, he has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial banking sector.
Fye got his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Clarion University in 2000, then his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009.
Outside of work, Fye is very involved in the community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Community Development Corporation of Butler County since 2010 and has also played big roles in helping the United Way of Butler County.
“Josh is a perfect fit for this role,” said Bill Shivers, Chief Commercial Lending Officer for Farmers National Bank. “He’s already been a great asset to our team and we can’t wait to see all that he is able to do for Pennsylvania in this new position.”
