Youngstown Phantoms extend co-GMs Jason Deskins and Ryan Kosecki

The Youngstown Phantoms have agreed to contract extensions for Co-General Managers, Jason Deskins and Ryan Kosecki. This extension will keep the pair in Youngstown through the 2028-2029 USHL season.

“Jason, Ryan, and I share a vision for the attributes we are looking for in our players, the type of hockey we want to play and the culture we want to preserve in our organization,” said Phantoms Team President Andrew Goldman. “Working with them has been a cohesive and collaborative process that has led to a Clark Cup Championship in just two short years. I couldn’t be more excited to continue to partner with them for many years to come.”

“The work done by Jason and Ryan in just two years has been nothing short of amazing,” said Phantoms Co-Owner Murry N. Gunty. “From bringing the first-ever Clark Cup to Youngstown, to our success in the NHL draft and beyond - they have earned this extension. They are essential members of the Phantoms and Black Bear Sports Group overall, and we are thrilled to sign this extension to keep them with us for a very long time.”
