Over 200 artisans, vendors setting up at Shaker Woods Festival
The second weekend of the Shaker Woods Festival starts at 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday in Columbiana.

If you can’t make it to the festival this weekend, it’ll be back on Aug. 26 and 27, featuring a live auction.
Where is the Shaker Woods Festival?
The Shaker Woods Festival is happening Aug. 19 and 20 at 44337 Countyline Road in Columbiana.
Admission is $10, and kids 12 years old and younger get in free.
Free parking is available for all guests in the lots near the entrance to the woods. Pets aren’t allowed for this event.
What’s happening at the festival?
Festival entertainment this weekend includes chainsaw carver Ken Tynan, saxophonist Steven Thomas and award-winning songwriter Troy Richardson on Saturday.
Then on Sunday, singer Philadelphia Phil along with violinists Mary and Nate Lewis join the entertainment lineup.
Kids can check out the new Shaker make-and-take crafts tent, hosted by the local artisan’s loft, and make their creations.
Transform wine bottles into lights with Nicole’s Corky Creations and make metal art with Holly Ridge Farms.
Shop from selections set up by over 200 vendors and artisans, including artist Jerry Costanzo who carves wood, and Carrie Cope, who’s behind She Shed, crafting wooden book stacks and garden gnomes.
Browse upcycled clothes and boutique items from Old Raggedy Friends and Chellea Closet, hand-sewn quilts from My Sister’s Quilts, and handmade jewelry from Kimberly Jade, presenting Wild to Fire Artisans.
If you’re hungry, stop by the food vendors, including Sweet Shoppe, which has chocolate-covered strawberries, and honey from Huckle Bee Farms. Try the new savory treats from The Original Strudel Factory.

Festivities continue this fall, winter
After the Shaker Woods Festival wraps up this month, guests won’t have to wait long for another chance to visit the woods.
Antiques in the Woods starts at 9 a.m. Sept. 9 and 10 on the Shaker Woods Grounds.
Then in October, celebrate Christmas in the Woods from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Oct. 14, 15, 21 and 22.
