Warren police release search warrant results as part of ongoing investigation

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations is working with the Warren Police Department after officers conducted a search warrant last week on Merriweather Street Northwest, according to Greg Hoso, an officer with the Street Crimes Unit.

The search was part of a months-long investigation and netted over 350 suspected Fentanyl pills, over 50 grams of crack cocaine, drug packaging material, two firearms and $7,600 in cash, according to a department Facebook post, which added Warren Police Dept. Street Crimes Unit (S.C.U.) and the Trumbull County Trumbull Action Group (T.A.G) assisted Warren police officers on the search.

Hoso said the investigation is ongoing.
