Youngstown man dies in early Saturday shooting
Youngstown police are investigating an early morning shooting death as a homicide.
According to reports, police were called to the area of New York Avenue and Kensington and found a 26-year-old Black man who was spot and laying in the grass of a vacant lot with multiple gun shot wounds to the upper body.
Detectives, Crime Scene Unit, and the Coroners Office were requested and began processing the scene.
The Youngstown Police Department Detective Division, along with the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office, are investigating this incident.
