Akron Children’s expands primary care to Campbell
Pediatricians are bringing primary care to Campbell community members through an expansion of Akron Children’s Pediatrics.
Akron Children’s Pediatrics Campbell is now open at 434 Struthers-Coitsville Road in Lowellville, inside the Community Literacy Workforce and Cultural Center.
“We’re excited to bring pediatric primary care closer to home for families in and around Campbell,” said Brian Dinger, Akron Children’s vice president of primary care. “In the fall, we will expand the Campbell office by offering Saturday morning hours for sick child care and well visits. Also in the fall, we will have a mental health therapist available for patients on Mondays.”
Campbell office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It’s the fortieth office in the hospital’s pediatrics network.
Parents can bring kids in for immunizations and wellness checkups with pediatric specialists, including Dr. Aaron Sweeney and certified nurse practitioners Laurie McGlynn, Terri McCaughtry, and Marie Lingenfelter.
