Mahoning Valley native Marco Donatelli found love and won $100,000 simultaneously.

Donatelli lives in Florida and recently won the Peacock Network’s reality show “Love Island USA,” which is hosted by “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland,

How Marco Donatelli met Hannah Wright

He met California resident Hannah Wright on the second episode while he was in Fiji for the six-week show, which lasted 37 episodes.

“For me, as cliché as it sounds – the moment I saw her. I was talking to the boy through Love Island, and we asked each other “What’s your type?” Most of the guys said they didn’t have a type, all the girls were beautiful, [so I said] what my type is and if she walks in, I’m going for it, and it’s going to be mine,” Donatelli told reporters.

“So I said tan skin, brown hair, athletic, and you know, just beautiful. So when I saw her walk in out of the Hideaway door, I jumped up off the daybed and ran to her, gave her the first hug and a kiss on the cheek. Clearly wasn’t enough to get the first date from her, but as soon as I laid my eyes on her, I knew she was the one that I wanted and nobody was going to stop me from doing that.”

“He won’t let me live down the date,” Wright said. “We’re going to be married and he’s still going to be like, you didn’t choose me for the first date.”

What are Marco Donatelli and Hannah Wright doing after the show?

The couple is visiting family and friends in California and Florida.

Donatelli is slated to be in the Mahoning Valley on Sept. 15 for Girard’s home football game and a Youngstown State on Sept. 16 for the team’s home football game.
