Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s office released the top 100 things to do for fall across the state.

What are some of the best spots for pumpkin patches, hay rides and more fall festivities in Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties?

Here are some of the spots in Mahoning Valley mentioned on the governor’s list:

Kuchta Farms

“Orange you pumped for classic fall activities? Like getting the perfect pumpkin when you stop by an Ohio pumpkin patch - such as Kuchta Farms in Newton Falls. Did you know Ohio ranks third nationally for pumpkin production?”

Kuchta Farms is located at 4785 State Route 82 in Newton Falls, Trumbull County.

They have a corn maze, pumpkin patch, sunflowers, a general store and a donut barn open daily until Oct. 30.

Maze Craze

“Navigate through a corn maze. Check out Maze Craze in New Springfield, which made USAToday’s “Best Corn Mazes” list for 2023.”

Visit the Maze Craze at 14070 Woodworth Road on Route 165 in New Springfield, and try not to get lost in over 21 acres of twists and turns.

The maze is open during the weekend through Nov. 5. Tickets cost $12 each for anyone over the age of five.

Arts in the Early Morning

“Brush up with an artful family day at The Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown. The museum hosts two “Arts in the Early Morning” series designed for families with young kids.”

Here are the two free family-friendly activities offered each month:

Stroller Art (for infants up to 24 month) is every first Thursday of the month from 10-11 a.m.
Young Friends Adventure (for children ages 2-5) is every second Thursday of the month from 10-11 a.m..

The Butler Institute of American Art is located at 524 Wick Ave. in Youngstown.
