Man sentenced after breaking windows at Trumbull County Children Services in Warren
Jeremy M. Feidler, 39, of North Park Ave., Warren, received consecutive sentences totaling 30 months in prison last Thursday before Judge Ronald J. Rice of the Trumbull County Common Pleas Court:This was after he pleaded guilty last month to felony charges of vandalism and aggravated menacing. Feidler was charged for breaking windows on Aug. 31 of last year at the Trumbull County Children Services agency on Reeves Road NE in Warren. He later created a separate disturbance at his former workplace, reports stated. Feidler pleaded guilty after a psychological evaluation found him competent to stand trial.
Judge Rice said consecutive sentences were necessary to protect the public from future crimes. The judge also ordered Feidler to pay $3,239 in restitution to Trumbull County Children Services to replace the broken windows. He also was ordered to have no contact with the agency. Feidler was credited for 481 days served in jail while awaiting resolution of his case.
