Joy to the Mahoning Valley: Signing up for the northeast Ohio Christmas Loop

Organizers of the northeast Ohio Christmas Loop are looking for Mahoning Valley residents who go all-out decorating for the holidays each year.

Whether you have “an awe-inspiring holiday light display, a heartwarming nativity scene, or a festive wonderland that you want to share with the community,” they want to hear from you.

What is the Christmas Loop?

The Christmas Loop is a self-guided tour of neighborhoods in northeast Ohio that have some of the best displays for the holidays.

It’s organized by Spanning the Need and 330ToGO.

“We are absolutely thrilled to join forces with 330ToGO to bring the Christmas Loop to life in Northeast Ohio and the Mahoning Valley,” said Anthony Spano of Spanning the Need. “At Spanning the Need, we believe in the power of good news and community spirit. The Christmas Loop embodies both these ideals, and we can’t wait to see the joy it brings to our neighborhoods.”

How it works

From now until Nov. 24, Mahoning Valley residents can submit their addresses and other information that is requested to be included in the Christmas Loop.

The Christmas Loop will be released around Nov. 27

“At 330ToGO, our mission is to connect communities through meaningful experiences, and what could be more meaningful than spreading holiday cheer and groups supporting local charities?” said Jessica Bader at 330ToGo.” We are thrilled to partner with Spanning the Need and the local community to make this Christmas tradition a reality.”

Residents wanting to be part of the Christmas Loop will need to submit their address along with what type of display you’re putting up this year. They’ll also ask for a picture of your previous displays and whether it’s a standard design or incorporates music.
