Shooting that killed woman during Warren home invasion under investigation

Warren police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a early morning home invasion of a home in the 900 block of Francis Avenue SE, where a 26-year-old woman was shot to death.

A 911 report showed that Ahsante Kirksey, 26, was shot shortly after 2 a.m. Nov. 11, and not breathing at the residence. The boyfriend told 911 dispatchers three subjects in a gray Jeep came into the house and shot the woman in the neck.

The report stated the Jeep was last seen heading westbound on Warren Boulevard, the report showed.

A Warren police report stated no arrests have been made but they have issued a warrant for Noel Flores, 19, of Warren. A gun was recovered at the scene of the shooting, the report states.
