Need weekend plans? Visit the Howland Thanksgiving Farmers Market or Can a Cruiser
The Howland Township Trustees and organizers of the Howland Farmers Market welcome the community to attend their annual Thanksgiving market at the SCOPE Center this weekend.
At the Thanksgiving Farmers Market on Saturday, support local businesses selling fresh, locally grown vegetables and local honey.
Vendors will have Thanksgiving goods, desserts, treats and gifts for sale for the holiday season.
The market is happening from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Howland SCOPE Center, located at 8273 High St. NE in Warren.

When you stop by the market this Saturday, make sure to bring in a few non-perishables to donate for people in need.
If you donate, you’ll be entered to win a market gift basket.
They’re asking for non-perishables like jelly, peanut butter, cereal, pasta, pasta sauce and canned meat.
The gift basket winner will be drawn at the Dec. 16 winter farmers market. All food or cash donations will be given to the Bolindale food pantry.
They’re accepting SNAP, EBT and PEBT at the farmers market.
The Howland Farmers Market’s Winter season is happening every first and third Saturday in November until May inside the Howland SCOPE Center.

Can the Cruisers in Trumbull County
If you’re in a really big giving mood, stop by one of the four Can the Cruiser events happening Saturday in Trumbull County.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. stop by the Howland Giant Eagle on East Market Street to help Howland police fill cruisers and emergency vehicles with canned goods for Thanksgiving.
Food and monetary donations are accepted and will be given to the local food pantries.
You can also visit the Niles Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol who will be collecting donations from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Giant Eagle on Route 46 at Robins Avenue.
All proceeds collected at the Giant Eagle will be donated to Niles Community Services, which serves Niles, Weathersfield and McDonald.
The Bazetta police and fire departments will be at the Walmart on Millennium Boulevard collecting donations for Can the Cruiser.
All proceeds collected at the Bazetta Walmart will be donated to Cortland Area Cares, which serves the Lakeview School District, as well as qualifying members of supporting area churches.
The Champion police and fire departments will be at the Sparkle Market, located at 5634 Mahoning Ave. NW in Warren from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
All proceeds collected at the Champion Sparkle Market will be donated to the Champion Pride Council, which serves Champion Township and Champion School District.
