Man faces Dec. 28 sentencing date after being found guilty in Austintown murder
A sentencing date of Dec. 28 was set a 26-year-old man who was convicted of aggravated murder, rate and domestic violence charges against an Austintown woman at Compass West Apartments.
Steve Green shot and killed 25-year-old Ashley Lockhart while she was on the phone asking for help on Oct. 8, 2021. Police said Green shot Lockhart six times.
Green was convicted by a Mahoning County jury on Nov. 17.
