DeSalvo Construction matching charity donations for Giving Tuesday
For Giving Tuesday, Joe DeSalvo at DeSalvo Construction in Hubbard is helping two different organizations.
DeSalvo Construction is matching donations for Giving Tuesday made to the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley and Inspiring Minds of Warren.
They’re matching all of the donations up to $25,000 for each organization.
“We feel deeply about giving back to our community,” DeSalvo said. “Inspiring Minds excels in motivating students in Warren, spanning grades 3-12, to realize their fullest potential through a diverse range of supportive initiatives and exposure-driven opportunities. It’s a truly impressive organization.”
He added that the United Way of the Mahoning Valley is a “remarkable organization with a longstanding commitment to aiding those in need within our valley; the positive impact they bring to our communities benefits us all.”

Boardman Emerging Leaders help out at Animal Charity of Ohio
The Animal Charity of Ohio can use all the help the community can give, and the community has stepped up to the plate for the pups.
Animal Charity takes in abused, neglected animals from Mahoning County for veterinary treatment, housing and adoption.
Sometimes people give monetary donations, and other times volunteers give up their free time to socialize and care for the animals.
