“I’m humbled and honored to be recognized as Cornerstone’s 2023 Caregiver of the Year” said Sprouse. “Receiving an award like this reminds me that I make a difference in my clients’ lives every day. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Cornerstone family and that they have recognized me in this way.”

Sprouse was chosen out of more than 100 nominated caregivers across the country.

She’s worked with 17 clients throughout this year, according to Morgan O’Brien, operating director at Cornerstone’s Youngstown location.

“We are incredibly thankful for Lori’s passion and dedication to her clients she serves — we couldn’t be more thrilled that she was selected for this honor,” said O’Brien. “Lori embodies our mission by caring for our clients as if they were family.”

Clients can receive specialized services including Alzheimer’s & Dementia care, as well as palliative care right in the comfort of their homes.

“At Cornerstone, we understand that each individual deserves a different and unique approach, which is why we focus on providing elite in-home care that helps our clients feel comfortable,” said Michael Hillman, co-founder of Cornerstone. “Caregivers like Lori are on the front lines providing that care with a smile on their faces. We look forward to continuing this tradition and recognizing the caregivers that make our company’s mission possible.”
