Mahoning Valley’s Gorant Chocolatier has been crafting chocolate confectionaries for 75 years.

This weekend, they’re celebrating the release of Wonka in theaters Dec. 25 with their own golden ticket giveaway for northeast Ohio customers.

Buy a Gorant chocolate assortment from either of the two local locations and you’ll have the chance to get free chocolate for a year.

Ten winners will uncover a golden ticket inside their chocolate assortment. If you find a golden ticket, you get free chocolate.

When does the golden ticket giveaway start?

The golden ticket giveaway starts today through the weekend and it’s happening at two locations: the flagship location at 400 Boardman Poland Road, as well as the Howland location at 8264 E Market St.

The Howland store is open at 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

The Youngstown store is open at 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from noon- 5 p.m. on Sunday.
