Mahoning Valley manufacturing official named to state role
Jessica Borza was named managing director, Workforce Services for The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association (OMA).
She has served as the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition’s (MVMC) executive director since its inception in 2011.
Alex Hertzer was promoted to interim executive director at MVMC.
Under Borza’s leadership, MVMC has grown from 18 founding members to more than 70 manufacturers and dozens more associate members and education partners in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
The organization has also been awarded more than $26 million in workforce development grant funding.
