Here are the Mahoning Valley schools closing for the solar eclipse

Mahoning County schools that will not have classes on April 8 include Austintown, Boardman, Campbell (staff in-service); Jackson-Milton; Poland; Potential Development; Struthers, Sebring; Western Reserve. Youngstown City Schools will have a two-hour early dismissal.
Potential Development Paul Garchar, CEO, said, “It’s important and exciting for our students to experience the solar eclipse, so extending our spring break by one day gives families the opportunity to plan some activities to safely view it.”

Early dismissal: Bristol, Brookfield, Hubbard, Joseph Badger, LaBrae, Maplewood, McDonald, Niles, and Warren city.
