Report: Up to $250,000 offered for info leading to conviction in Warren postal shooting

Warren Police Department is investigating the shooting death of 33-year-old U.S. Postal Service employee Jonte Davis in the 600 Block of Olive Avenue N.E.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is reportedly offering up to a $250,000 reward leading to the arrest of those involved in the shooting.

Police said Davis was shot while in his van at approximately 1:44 p.m. Saturday by someone in another vehicle.

Officers and EMTs performed life-saving measures on scene and he was transported to Trumbull Regional Medical Center where he later died as a result of his wounds, reports indicated.

Police said a suspect vehicle was found a few hours later in the 400 block of Maryland Ave NE. Police executed a search warrant there.
