Firefighter, EMT promoted to lieutenant at McDonald Fire Department

Dan Jamison is receiving a promotion after serving for 20 years as an EMT and firefighter.

He’s now the new lieutenant of the McDonald Fire Department in the village of McDonald.

“Lt. Dan Jamison brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our department,” the McDonald Fire Department wrote on Facebook.

Lt. Jamison started as a junior firefighter in 2004 and worked for the Village of McDonald and the city of Youngstown for around 20 years, according to the fire chief.
