Austintown Fitch is the No. 1 team in the final Mahoning Matters Super 7 softball poll.

Austintown Fitch, the defending Division I state softball champion, claimed the No. 1 spot in the final rankings.

The Falcons, led by standout pitcher Sydnie Watts, have won 15 straight games.

The Falcons are 19-1 on the season and have outscored their past eight opponents, 96-1.

Canfield

Canfield ends No. 2 in the final poll, and like Fitch, has been dominant on the diamond.

The Cardinals are 23-3 and have won nine straight games.

Canfield has outscored its last four tournament foes, 41-4.

Warren Champion

Warren Champion, which is one of the state powers in Division III, is No. 3 in the final rankings.

The Golden Flashes have outscored their last three tournament opponents, 32-0.

The Golden Flashes are 20-4 overall on the season.

South Range

South Range, another force in the Division III rankings, ends No. 4 in the final ratings.

The Raiders are 26-3 and have won their first three tournament games in impressive fashion.

Mathews

The Mathews Mustangs move up to No. 5 in the final mahoningmatters.com rankings.

The Division IV power Mustangs sport a 21-7 record against a tough schedule which includes playing many larger schools.

Columbiana

The Columbiana Clippers, who have concluded their season, finish No. 6 in the final rankings.
