Work to rebuild Ohio 82 as part of diverging diamond project planned to be done this year

Ohio Department of Transportation officials reported this week that work to rebuild the Ohio 82 bridge as part of the diverging diamond project is expected to be done by the end of 2024.

Officials said that after the work is done there, the work is expected to focus on Ohio 46 in 2025.

Demolition work on the eastbound Route 82 bridge was completed earlier this week.

Work on the diverging diamond viaduct is expected to be completed in 2026.
