Police say suspect in Youngstown robbery and shooting found dead
Youngstown police said a man accused of robbing another person and shooting him in the face was found dead Tuesday in a high brush area between Pasadena and Dewey avenues.
Officials have been on the lookout for Benjamin White after he was identified as a suspect in an Oct. 22, 2023 incident in the 200 block of Gaither Ave. where he reportedly escaped after the shooting.
Police say a body thought to be White was found Tuesday and was confirmed as him on Friday.
