3 ways to celebrate dad this weekend for Father’s Day in the Mahoning Valley

Here are a few things for families to do to celebrate dads this Father’s Day in Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties.
Mahoning County
Mr. Darby’s Antique and Collectible Emporium is hosting monthly trunk sales this summer.
Head to the event Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at 8574 Market St. in Boardman to browse the community trunk sale.

Columbiana County
On Saturday, stop by BirdFish Brewing Co. from noon - 9 p.m. for quality time with family and food from Two and a Half Greeks.
The food truck offers traditional Greek Street Food with a twist.
Then on Sunday, come back for another night of fun and authentic Puerto Rican food served by Red Rican Food Truck.
Grab a bite from Red Rican at BirdFish from noon - 7 p.m., like empanadas, loaded fries, pastellilos and more.
The brewery is located at 140 E. Park Ave. in Columbiana.
Trumbull County

The woman-owned business is calling all root beer and pun enthusiasts to attend.
It’s free to get in to the two-day event at Sweet Memories Vintage Tees and Candy, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The dad joke showdown is from 1 - 3 p.m.
Grab free samples of root beer, enter raffles and shop for graphic t-shirts and treats for family members and friends.
