A local organization that supports small businesses and entrepreneurship announced a new event to showcase the ideas of youth entrepreneurs.

The Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI)‘s Inspiring Minds Youth Marketplace will show the efforts of several young entrepreneurs presenting their innovative business ideas. The event will be held on July 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at YBI Main on 241 W Federal St.

The young scholars had weeks of diligent effort and learning from YBI and are ready to present their innovative business ideas and products to the public. The marketplace will feature scholar showcases, where each participant will have a booth to display their business plans and products.

Community members are invited to engage with the young entrepreneurs, ask questions and provide valuable encouragement. The aim is to promote community involvement by uniting residents, scholars, and business leaders to recognize the positive impact of educational programs on the youth.

“We are thrilled to provide a platform for these young entrepreneurs to showcase their hard work and innovative ideas,” Megan Payich, Director of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program at YBI said. “We invite the community to join us in supporting these future innovators.”

YBI announced via press release that the Inspiring Minds Youth Marketplace is open to the public and encouraged community members to attend to see the impact of educational programs on local youth and to support their entrepreneurial endeavors.
