Here’s what’s happening at First Friday in Youngstown, including bull riding, The Conkle Brothers live

It’s that time again: residents are coming downtown for First Friday celebrations in Youngstown today.

First Friday begins at 5 - 11 p.m. at different locations throughout downtown, put together by the Downtown Youngstown Partnership.

The evening starts with a live performance by Columbiana duo The Conkle Brothers from 5 - 8 p.m. on the S. Phelps St. Stage outside of Golden String Radio with support from Hubbard Music.

Stick around the Phelps Street Corridor for family-friendly activities and games sponsored by local fitness groups like the Downtown Youngstown YMCA and Youngstown State University Campus Rec.

At 5:30 p.m., visit the Octave Live Music Café and Event Center for line dance with Stepping Out Fitness and Mercy Health, then head over to Penguin City Brewing at 7:30 p.m. for more country line dance and bull riding.

At 7 p.m., the House Band is performing at Octave.
