Youngstown police investigate Aug. 14 shooting at Brier Hill neighborhood home
Youngstown police officers investigated a shooting sometime on the evening of Aug. 14 at a home in the 200 block of Dupont Street in the Brier Hill neighborhood.
A bullet was discovered inside the home and the female resident told officers she thought she heard a single gunshot sometime after 9:30 p.m. When she woke the next morning, she found a spent round on top of the dresser in her child’s room. Officers found the spent rifle round with an unknown caliber where the woman said it was, the report stated. The officers entered the round into evidence.
No arrests or injuries have been reported from this incident.
