The Laundry Spot opens on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown

The Laundry Spot recently opened at 2032 Mahoning Ave. in Youngstown.

In addition to washers and dryers, owner Ridge Awadallah said his place offers extra perks like a concession stand, which offers snacks, coffee and lottery tickets.

“I envision expanding to ensure every surrounding county has a laundromat as clean, modern, and high-tech as ours,” Awadallah said. “My journey began in March 2020, and overcoming challenges such as funding hurdles, location issues, and rising costs has only strengthened my commitment. I’m passionate about making a positive impact and contributing to the revitalization of our area. I won’t stop until our vision is realized and we’ve made a lasting difference in every community we touch.”
