New small business offering a diverse range of services now open in Liberty Township
A new business aimed at creating an empowering, inspiring, and collaborative workspace for locally-owned businesses and dynamic teams is now open in Liberty Township.
The Hive, owned by Kelly McKee-Foos, held its ribbon cutting and grand opening event on Saturday. The business offers a co-working space, yoga classes, photography sessions, and pop up markets. The space is also available to rent for workshops, meetings, and smaller events.
A podcasting studio is located inside the space and is available to use for a fee. The studio is sponsored by THRIVE 10:10, Trumbull County Grief and Loss in Motion, and Triunity Cares, according to McKee-Foos.
“I have always been passionate about small business,” she said. “My hope is that this space can be utilized to elevate those businesses and organizations.”
McKee-Foos said The Hive is committed to creating a welcoming, productive, and inclusive community for all.
McKee-Foos, who also owns McKee Foos Photography and Spark Motherhood Wellness and Doula Services, said she has been blessed over the years with many people supporting her small businesses and wanted to do the same.
“I think that I am most excited to give those opportunities back to other folks who want to expand their businesses or get them off of the ground,” she said. “There are a lot of entrepreneurs and creatives who may not have the funds to rent their own spaces.”
McKee-Foos said the new business is dedicated to providing exceptional co-working experiences that prioritize flexibility, adaptability, and community, while supporting both decision-makers and end users.
“I want this space to be something that is accessible and affordable for local business owners, nonprofit organizations, and other local entities like parent teacher organizations, clubs, and so on,” she said. “My hope is that they can use The Hive to help take their business, organization, or brand to the next level.”
The Hive is at 214 Churchill Hubbard Rd. and can be reached at 330-540-5709.
