The following cases were handled September 25 before Judge Sean O’Brien of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court:

  • Rawsheen McElroy, 44, of Lancer Court Northwest Warren, was sentenced to an indefinite prison term of four to six years after he pleaded guilty to second-degree possession of cocaine and fifth-degree trafficking in cocaine felony charges. He also forfeited $752 in cash that was obtained during a Warren police raid on McElroy’s home on April 19, 2022, where over 40 grams of cocaine was confiscated. McElroy was also charged with a 0.15 gram of cocaine to a confidential informant working with Warren police on April 12, 2022.
  • Robert W. Mogg, 58, of Thornton Avenue Youngstown, received a 9-month prison term after he pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree felony of grand theft. The charge was connected to an Aug. 17, 2023, break-in at a detached garage off U.S. Route 422 in Southington, where riding lawnmowers and other items with value totaling $7,563, were stolen. The judge followed the recommendations of the plea deal, saying that Mogg was not amenable to any terms of probation.

The following case was handled September 25 before Judge Cynthia Rice of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court:

  • Daniel Timko, 37, of South Feederle Drive Southeast, Warren, pleaded guilty to trespass into a habitation, a fourth-degree felony, and was sentenced to 12 months in prison. Timko was accused of breaking into a home on Woodbine Avenue Southeast in Warren, in the morning of July 25, 2024. He and his accomplice were caught by the homeowner who chased them out of the home. Police officers shortly afterward arrested both men a short distance away, prosecutors stated. Because of his prior felony conviction and prison terms, Timko was not amenable to probation.
