“Happy to be in Brookfield:” Community shows up to new Country Cottage Gift Shop
Are you in the mood for some early holiday gift shopping from a local family business?
Country Cottage Gift Shop opened in Brookfield after a ribbon cutting with the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber at the end of September.
“We had a great community turnout,” said shop owner John Grexa. “We are very happy to be in Brookfield. We have a ton of very supportive customers and we look forward to the upcoming holiday season.”
With summer winding down, the family business is ready to clear out all the fall decorations to make room for their favorite holiday items and gift shopping season.
“Christmas is our favorite holiday and we will have a huge display of products available,” said Grexa. “We offer a unique selection of primitive, country, modern and holiday items, as well as ‘everyday’ home decor items.”
The holiday displays are expected to be up starting in mid-October but at the latest by the beginning of November, according to Grexa.
“At Country Cottage, we focus on the customer experience,” he said. “Little gift shops are becoming far and few. You can find so many unique products at gift shops that you can’t get at the big box stores.”
Country Cottage is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday at 429 State Route 7 in Brookfield.
