New Amazon location bringing over 150 jobs to Trumbull County
A new Amazon warehouse is coming to Trumbull County, according to Michael Hovis, Bazetta Township Trustee.
Hovis confirmed the warehouse will be a 169,000-square-foot facility at a currently vacant commercial lot in Bazetta Township.
“We are hoping that this is a catalyst to bring other development to this Industrial zone of the township,” Hovis said. “Commercial development and residential development has been our focus to promote growth.”
According to Hovis, the warehouse will create over 150 jobs for Trumbull County residents.
Hovis also said the new warehouse will boost the township’s appeal to other businesses looking to build.
Amazon bought the property for a total of $918,540 on Jan. 22, according to records from the Trumbull County Auditor.
The warehouse is expected to be completed by 2026.
