For the third year in a row, TEAM330 invites northeast Ohio residents to gather together for 330DAY.

It’s a celebration highlighting local businesses, local music and creative talent in Mahoning, Stark, Trumbull and Summit counties.

Local business owners started TEAM330 to uplift the 330 area code region by hosting events and community-driven initiatives.

“This is the first year that we specifically planned to have things play out over the course of more than one full day,” Moss said.

“Folks can come out, meet some of the weekends’ performers, event organizers, vendors, members of the supporting business community,” he said.

At Saturday and Sunday’s events, Moss said there will be live entertainment, local vendors and networking opportunities.

Moss said they’re expecting at least 20-30 vendors coming to Penguin City on March 29.

“Most vendors will be stationed indoors but patrons will also have access to outdoor food trucks,” he said.

There’s also a celebration for 330DAY at 10 p.m. March 29 at the 330 Lounge in Youngstown.

Then on March 30, head over to Westside Bowl from 3:30 - 9 p.m. for food, live music, performances and another ten to 15 vendors.

“Businesses throughout Mahoning and Trumbull counties are encouraged to reach out to TEAM330 in hopes to incorporate their own 330DAY specials and discounts to help assist in the shared celebratory environment and recognition of the day,” Moss said.

From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on March 30, visit TREK Coffee in Youngstown for 330DAY’s “Future of YOU” coffee shop talk.

“We’ll be doing a live taping of a moderated panel discussion about Youngstown’s place in the 330 region,” Moss said. “Folks are welcome to come out and ‘sip the tea’ for that one.”

Why was 330DAY started in Youngstown?

The event was started by Lisette Encarnacion, Gary Thornton, Jr., DeJuan Ellis and Moss in 2022.

330DAY started as an idea to highlight the talents of the over one million people living across the four counties in the 330 area code.

They all wanted to create something that “celebrated often overlooked talent and culture in the Mahoning Valley,” according to Moss.

“Through our own individual experiences we have been able to successfully build a cohesive unit,” he said. “We all have focused on a very specific mission and building on a core set of values, that include strengthening community, individual civic duty, financial literacy, health and wellness, and entrepreneurship.”

The first event was six hours on a Thursday afternoon in March of 2023, according to Moss.

In 2024, 330DAY drew over 4,000 attendees and has grown into a three-day event in two years.
