Second-hand clothing store in New Castle relocating, hosting sale ahead of move
Frequent Western Pennsylvania thrift store and second-hand shoppers will want to check out Goodwill in New Castle’s ongoing moving sale.
Starting May 2 through May 9, Goodwill is offering customers 75% off all items at the current store, 2611 Ellwood Road, to get ready to move over to their new location at 3300 Wilmington Road.
The final day of operation at the Shenango Towne Center store is May 9 and they’ll be accepting donations until then.
During this final week, the store will be from open 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Goodwill is also hosting a job fair for candidates to apply to part-time positions at the new Wilmington Road location.
The two-day job fair is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on May 6 and May 7 at 3300 Wilmington Road; interested applicants can attend in person or call (330) 719-5537 for more information.
Heather Yeager, director of retail operations for Goodwill, said this relocation represents an exciting new chapter for Goodwill in Western Pennsylvania.
